Assisting the local animal welfare organisations
C.E.L. Paving products has always involved itself in community affairs. Be this at educational institutions, clinics or animal welfare facilities, C.E.L. Paving donates with concrete block products where it can.
We recently were privileged to help out at two different facilities where we were able to offer concrete paving for the upgrading of the areas.
Assisting with paving at Animal Welfare Stellenbosch
The first was at the Animal Welfare Centre in Stellenbosch, who were in the process of building a new puppy facility. The centre was in need of paving for the puppy yard in order to maintain some form of hygiene and to prevent mud being constantly drawn in to the indoor kennel area. C.E.L. Paving was only to happy to donate a range of second grade pavers for the area. The pavers supplied were the polished exposed aggregate, 200 x 200mm in the charcoal colour.
The yard is now has concrete paving floors and happy puppies all around. We thank AWSS for allowing us to be of assistance. Also a big thank you to Henry for laying the pavers and to AJ Transport for offering a reduced rate on the transport.
Assisting with paving donations
The second opportunity we were afforded, was the provision Pavatile paving slabs to Leadville dog park in Sunningdale.
We were contacted by Rabie Property Administrators , where they were requesting assistance for the park. The new benches in the park are placed in positions as to allow for dog walkers to take a rest. Unfortunately the area was grassed and with the recent drought the surface had turned to mud. This created a problem as when anyone sat on the benches the legs sunk in to the wet ground. C.E.L. Paving products once again was able to assist with the donation of concrete block paving.
C.E.L. Paving products offered our Pavatile wet cast slabs 440 x 400 x 40mm, for the walkway benches, in as a solution to the problem.
