With winter half way through, its that time of year when you may be looking at how to improve the paving around your swimming pool . Perhaps your paving area needs a face lift? Think new concrete block paving and pool copings to give it a lift. Swimming pool pavers are available in a variety of colours and shapes. At  C.E.L. Which swimming pool pavers to choose.

The paving you choose for around your swimming pool will depend on several factors which include lifestyle, family requirement, your patio design and style, your budget and the shape of your pool.

Our most popular product for pools are concrete slabs as a pool paver, which offer  a large format block making the area look uncluttered and elegant. These pavers are available in sizes 440 x 440 and 500 x 500mm. If you wanted to add some detail you could incorporate cobbles in a different colour perhaps, to offer contrast.

Add in swimming pool copings as part of your paving

For those that don’t know, a coping is a  top or edge to a constructed element. The coping may be round or square and is normally the frame of the concrete paving or brick wall, as it typically finishes it off. We are able to offer a variety of concrete copings to match your swimming pool pavers.

Paving to pools, which finish?

There are a variety of finished available to consider when you are giving your swimming pool a brand new look with paving.  A non-slip finishes such as the Granito, is recommended for those areas typically close to the pool to help prevent unnecessary accidents, ideally as the coping finish. from there you can look at a slate or lava finish which offers a smooth undulating texture which feels comfortable underfoot while still offering a form of non-slip surfacing.
